Beach Clean Up on August 3rd, 2008

From a Venice mom, Susan Derby:

Join the Venice Moms (+ spouses/partners, kids and friends) for our next Heal the Bay Adopt-a-Beach Cleanup! We'll meet just SOUTH of the pier at 10am. **A Heal the Bay volunteer will give a short talk at 10am, before we get started with the clean-up, so please try to make it on time. (But if you are late, not a problem - I'll be close by to welcome you and give you bags and gloves.)

Please RSVP by July 28, as I need to know how many cleanup supplies to pick up. Feel free to invite any friends.

I'll bring bagels, but if anyone else is inspired to bring any other snacks or beverages, feel free and it'd be much appreciated (and much eaten!). Thanks, and we look forward to seeing you!!!

P.S. Our third and final (for now) clean-up will be on Venice Beach (north of the pier) on Sunday, Sept. 7. An Evite with more details will be sent closer to the time.
