Mom Tonic

I arrived in NY a few days ago with a little gift for my mom: a cold/flu. So immediately, she concocted her anti-sick stew of fruits and spices.

Honey was then added to the final cup. Another tip was squirting lime (or lemons) directly on to the tonsils. This numbed the pain immediately. She swears that this “tonic” has kept her healthy for the last few years.

Looks kind of, umm... "interesting," but I think it's been helping.


Ingredients (with the skin):
Apples, Pomegranate, Persimmon, Ginger, Cinnamon, Jujube, Grapes, Orange Peels and Ginseng (she released the content of tea packets).
